WARNING! Hair not naturally straight! Many hours under industrial pressing machine required for this hairdo! What's New with Hannah: After spending her summer visiting Vermont, California, and New Jersey, Hannah will be in the National Honor Society in school this year, and will assume the role of Co-Editor for her school's literary magazine. She'll continue to be active in Drama, photography, foreign languages, painting, and more (she constructs things out of Duct Tape, an important ability in these turbulent, Duct-Tape-centric times, and also makes elaborate and beautiful greeting cards -- but usually not out of Duct Tape).

Dossier: Hannah Macho Toborella Slivvey Headly Banana Lily Mandel was born on October 28, 1986 to Alan and Ellen. She answers simply to the name Hannah, but she WILL turn around and look at you if you were to call out, "Hey, Headly!"

Remarkably, even in her teen years, Hannah eschews the trappings of pop culture worshipped by so many of today's disaffected youth. Her vocabulary and manner of speech are asoundingly sophisticated (see the Hannahizims scattered throughout the Elizaism page), her memory photographic, her knowledge of musical theatre encyclopediac. She could be British. In fact, she has done, and will do, at University. Brilliant! Hospital!

In addition to being a major Red Sox fan, Hannah loves to write. Two of her not-so-recent works, two extraordinary verses, may be found here.

"But Mom, ALL the kids are parasailing to school this year! It's the latest thing! Just don't stop for any red lights, okay?"
